Planting Seeds of Intention for this New Moon Cycle

I hope everyone set some good intentions with this new moon in Capricorn. The Capricorn is associated with the Mountain Goat. They only focus on the top of the mountain and planning on getting there. So this is a great time to make plans for how you are going to reach your desired goals or "top of the mountain" in the upcoming New Year.

Incorporating rituals can be very powerful in manifesting. I perform a ritual and ceremony with every full and new moon. Often my children enjoy doing them with me. I have brought so many desired results in my life, it is my belief these rituals and intention based ceremony, have assisted me with creating positive change and purpose in my life.

The New Moon is a time to plant seeds. Not to be confused with the burning and releasing rituals of FULL moon Ceremony. This is a period to reflect and write down your intentions and growth in mind body and Spirit. I carry a journal with me the week leading up to and the day of the new moon and I write down everything I would like to see or feel or create for the good of myself and all those around me.

To keep record and have a vision journal, you can either take a photo of your list of seeds you are planting or you can write it twice one you will keep in the journal, the other you will plant in the earth like a seed. Your vision board/journal can be virtual or digital if you go with the photo. It is important to keep track of your desires so you can determine your progress and accomplishments.

My children and I are always pleased when the cycle comes to an end and we see how powerful the universe and ourselves were at creating our reality.

The evening of the full moon, myself or my children and I sit in the back yard, with bare feet we ground ourselves by connecting to nature and the vibrations of earth.

We light candles, clear the space to make it sacred and bring any crystals, acorns, rocks, wood, figurines, etc that have meaning to us. We have a natural water source a pond that we sit close to, so we do not bring water, if you do not have water available. Bring sme and a copper, glass or stainless steel bowl for the water element. We take a few moments to breathe, with focus of calming and centering our minds.

We then read our intentions out loud, only if we want to. If we want to keep ANY to ourselves, that is perfectly ok. I believe that speaking intentions and desires out loud gives them power and energy, so we read the ones we are comfortable with 1-3 times.

Then we go to the spot in our yard that we have assigned to "plant" our seeds. We dig small holes, with bare hands to connect with the earth and we separate the paper from our journal (making sure to have a copy). We roll each written intention, goal, or plan into a ball and plant it like a seed.

Any burning rituals should be done on the FULL moon as it is a time of releasing things to the universe, source, ancestors etc and trusting them to handle all your worries.

The dark side of the moon, much like the womb is the perfect environment for creation and miracles. This is why we plant seeds and nurture our intentions with the new moon energy. We finish with a prayer of gratitude and feel secure that Mother Earth will nurture our seeds.

My children were with family tonight at Disney so I did some seed planting for them too, I will show them their goals and wishes and my intention and hopes for them when they arrive back home.

Enjoy MY NEW MOON RITUAL PROCESS. I invite you to borrow mine or create your own. Please share your ceremony or intention for the next lunar cycle.
